Boat Description

The Impression 384 is an exceptional mid-sized true cruising yacht designed by Rob Humphreys and built for easy sailing and extended offshore cruising.

The boat has many outstanding attributes evident from the design through to the finer and many immediately unseen points of construction. Interior: The semi-deck saloon greets you with its splendid light and spacious ambiance. Exceptionally generous headroom is surrounded by superb cruising comforts with light wood decor, panoramic windows all with fine attention to detail throughout.

There are many overhead hatches and windows all with blinds. The Impression models actually have a true ceiling below the deck which provides excellent thermal properties needed for the Australian climate.

The 384 has a true L-shaped sea going galley and a forward facing dedicated navigation station, traditional and essential for a cruising boat. With the two cabin version comes the generous sized aft bathroom incorporating a separate shower cubicle and shower seat. The model has a selection of four superb interior layouts.

Construction: The build quality of the Elan's Cruising Range is of superior quality throughout. The Impression range has a very unique and superior rudder fixing arrangement and you will find the mast and rigging on the Impression much heavier and more robust than her competitors.  The Impression 384 has a proper big boat bilge which adds enormous strength to the hull in the keel area and reduces the mechanical stresses on the keel fixing bolts simply because the keel is shorter and the hull is deeper than other boats of her category.
